YOUNG EAGLE DANCERSYoung Indian girls -- SOARING EAGLES DANCERS -- "Fancy Dance" style eaglets photographed in brightly colored custom Native American Indian pow-wow regalia pictured performing live on a Viejas Indian Reservation stage during a cultural exhibition for a tribal audience in the Viejas DreamCatcher Theater, 2009. The young female "eaglets" are part of a San Diego County urban Indian cultural group, their cultural mentors, tribal TANF families, who've gathered and formed the "Soaring Eagles Dancers". Their weekly cultural classes focus on building family values and instilling a sense of belonging in the California urban Indian tribal community.
