YOUNG EAGLE DANCERS

Young Indian girls — SOARING EAGLES DANCERS — "Fancy Dance" style eaglets photographed in brightly colored custom Native American Indian pow-wow regalia pictured performing live on a Viejas Indian Reservation stage during a cultural exhibition for a tribal audience in the Viejas DreamCatcher Theater, 2009.

The young female "eaglets" are part of a San Diego County urban Indian cultural group, tribal TANF families, who've gathered and formed the "Soaring Eagles Dancers". Their weekly cultural classes focus on building family values and instilling a sense of belonging in the California urban Indian community.
