Getting the photos, text and video into a computer, fully restored, optimized & edited, and into the final project file is only part of a project. Archiving all the editable high–resolution Master & graphic files, all the optimized working files, the editable video & motion data files, all the bits and pieces is the final phase of production.

The Pictured Genealogy Production Included:

• Three Movie DVDs (3.5 hours total play time).

• Over 500 high–resolution production scans.

• I restored hundreds of badly–damaged photos.

• Over two hours of edited video & interviews.

• Still photos & video edited into three Movie DVDs.

• DVDs play on standard home DVD players.

The final disk Archive on this project included 26 data DVDs, 110 gigabytes:

• All 500–plus layered Master scans.

• All working files (with captions, names & dates embedded).

• All captured video with data file (the movie projects can be restored and re edited).

• All research materials.

This was a 90–day production...100–percent work done in–house solely by G. BALLARD.
